Blackberry-Orange Mimosas

Prep: 10 minutes • Serves: 6

1 package (6 ounces) blackberries
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 bottle (750 mL) sparkling wine or Champagne, chilled
3 thin slices orange, halved for garnish

1. In blender, purée blackberries, orange juice and sugar; strain through fine-mesh strainer. Makes about 1-1/2 cups.

2. For each Mimosa, add ¼ cup blackberry mixture to 8-ounce Champagne flute; top with ½ cup sparkling wine and stir gently. Makes 6 Mimosas.

3. Serve Mimosas garnished with orange slice.
