Build-Your-Own Moscow Mule Bar
Prep: 20 minutes plus chilling • Serves: 16
1-1/2 cups fresh lime juice
16 lime wedges
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves plus additional sprigs for garnish (optional)
1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
Blueberries, raspberries and/or sliced strawberries for garnish (optional)
Ice
Copper mugs or highball glasses
8 cans (8 ounces each) ginger beer, chilled
1.In separate small pitchers, add vodkas and lime juice. In separate small bowls, place lime wedges, herbs and berries, if desired.
2.For each mule, fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add 3 tablespoons vodka and 1-1/2 tablespoons lime juice; cover and shake vigorously. Fill 1 mug with ice; strain vodka mixture into mug, stir in desired herbs and top with 1/2 cup ginger beer. Garnish mule with lime wedges, berries and/or mint sprigs, if desired. Makes about 16 (6-ounce) mules.
