Busch’s Crab Boil
Prep: 20 minutes • Serves: 4
4 cups water
2 (12-ounce) cans beer (lager or pilsner)
2 sticks melted butter for dipping
1 packet (8 ounces) crab boil or Cajun seasoning
1. In a large pot, add water, beer and 1/4 of the seasoning mix.
2. Add 1/4 of the crabs to the pot and add another 1/4 of the seasoning mix all over the tops of the crabs.
3. Continue adding the crabs and seasoning mix in stages, creating layers in the pot.
4. Cover and bring the liquid to a boil over high heat.
5. Boil or steam the crabs for 4 to 6 minutes just to heat them through.
6. Remove the lid and drain the crabs into a colander; serve with melted butter on the side for dipping. Some guests enjoy having additional crab boil seasoning as well.
