Peppermint-Chocolate Chip Mason Jar Ice Cream
Prep: 20 minutes plus freezing • Serves: 6
4 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup finely crushed peppermint candies plus additional for garnish (optional)
1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips plus additional for garnish (optional)
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
6 (8-ounce) Mason jars with lid
1/4 cup finely crushed peppermint candies plus additional for garnish (optional)
1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips plus additional for garnish (optional)
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
6 (8-ounce) Mason jars with lid
1.Divide cream, candies, chocolate chips, milk, sugar and cream cheese into jars; cover and shake each jar 4 minutes or until cream mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Freeze jars 4 hours or until firm.
2.Serve ice cream garnished with candies and chocolate chips, if desired.
