Skillet to Oven Chicken with Cherry-Maple Brussels Sprouts

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved (about 4 cups)
1/4 cup shelled walnuts
1/4 cup dried cherries
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1.Preheat oven to 400°. In large, oven-safe skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper; add chicken to skillet and cook 6 minutes or until browned, turning once.
2.In medium bowl, toss Brussels sprouts, walnuts, cherries and syrup; add to skillet with chicken. Transfer skillet to oven; roast 20 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165° and Brussels sprouts are tender.
3.Slice chicken and serve with Brussels sprouts mixture sprinkled with additional walnuts, if desired.
