Sweet & Salty Slow Cooker Wings

Slow Cook: 2-1/2 hours • Serves: 8

4 pounds chicken wings, patted dry
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup (12 fluid ounces) cola
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup less-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

1. With kitchen scissors, snip off and discard wing tips. With sharp knife, split wings at the joint into the middle section and drumette.

2. In 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, whisk garlic, cola, sugar and soy sauce. Add wings and stir to coat; cover and cook on high 2½ hours or low 5 hours or until wings are very tender and falling apart, stirring quickly every hour. Makes about 24 wings.

3. With slotted spoon, transfer wings to serving platter; sprinkle with chives.
