Mint Julep

2 ounces Bourbon
½-¾ ounce simple syrup (to taste)
10 fresh mint leaves, plus additional mint to garnish
Crushed ice

1.Place the mint leaves in the bottom of a Julep Tin or highball glass. Muddle gently, and cover with crushed ice to about ¾ full. Add the bourbon and the simple syrup, and top to fill with additional crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
